I thought the macos-14 image was exclusively arm64. That job is for x86_64.

It looks like we're only going to have to use macOS-13 anymore. Because macos-14-large is billed.

I guess we'll have to drop support for Intel Macs sometime in the not too distant future then.

Technically I think the arm64 runner can build them, but the problem is that there's no way to verify that the binary works on an actual x86_64 chip (as in, not Rosetta). So the quality of support for Intel Macs will only go downhill if we lose access to x86_64 runners.
